After that - you have to get support from HP for their product. I have to ask - did you upgrade the system to Windows 8 or did it come with Windows 8? If you upgraded - it could be leftovers from the previous installation messing you up. May have been one of those things it would have been better off uninstalling until the upgrade was done and then installing fresh.
